Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) intervenes in emergencies and crises, to relieve human suffering from unmet medical needs and to create a space for humanity. MSF works to provoke a social and political response that meets the essential needs, and respects and protects the dignity, of people in danger. Artsen zonder Grenzen (MSF-Holland) is an Association of (former) field and office employees, with a Board keeping oversight. MSF-Holland has a partnership with MSF-offices in the UK and Germany. This partnership, known as ‘MSF Operational Centre Amsterdam’ (MSF-OCA), operates medical humanitarian interventions in about 25 countries. Annually, MSF-OCA deploys approximately 800 international staff and employs 10,000 national staff.

The Human Resources Management (HRM) department in MSF-Holland consists of approximately 50 people working in the units HR4U, HRM Excellence, Office HR, Pool Management, Psychosocial Care and Recruitment & Career Management.

The unit HRM Excellence is a strong team of passionate HR-professionals, who drive and maintain best practices across their areas of HR-expertise including: Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, HR Analytics, HR Metrics and Technology & Systems.

HR Process and Systems Manager (100%)
- Based in Amsterdam –


As the HR Process and Systems Manager you will report to the Coordinator HR Excellence.

You are part of the Excellence team in the HRM-departement.

Objectives
  • The objective of this role is to provide technical and functional support in the areas of Dynamics ERP-systems administration, Taleo, and other applications to HR end-users;
  • Work closely with teams from across the organization (IT, Finance, Logistics, Operations), Project implementation teams;
  • Assist in problem resolution, support, process mapping, system testing and future development, security access and training;

Main Responsibility
  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships across HR and the organization ensuring stakeholders are kept informed and where applicable, consulted, about process changes that impact on their areas;
  • Collaborates with end-users, customers, and technical teams to ensure that needs are met;
  • Plans and coordinates (in line with projectmanagement standards) process and tool rollouts;
  • Ensures training materials are current and utilized by all end-users as needed;
  • Acts as a primary configuration and administration expert for specified systems, including ownership over authorisation, change requests, system enhancement and bug reporting;
  • Provide support on intersectional projects when required;
  • With end-users of the systems on functional or technical matters to provide first-line support;
  • With the ICT department on technical matters to guarantee proper functioning and integration of the systems;
  • With super users in other departments on interfaces or shared issues to guarantee proper functioning of the systems and to support the processes which exceed the department;
  • With colleagues in the department on recordkeeping to safeguard integrity of the HR data. With the system owner(s) on technical matters to guarantee proper functioning of the systems;

Candidate Profile

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree qualified or equivalent.
  • Strong ability to analyse, process and present complex information.
  • HR knowledge in process design/improvement, ideally delivering processes.
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365, Taleo or SAP is highly desirable.
  • Process/quality/continuous improvement qualification such as lean, six sigma is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation.
  • Projectplanning and projectmanagement experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills at all levels of the organisation.

We Offer

  • A challenging and exciting position in an international environment;
  • A contract for one year with renewal option, based on a full time appointment for 40 hours per week (100% labour percentage, spread over 5 days one week);
  • A gross monthly salary in scale 6 between € 2, 811 and € 4, 015 depending on professional experience, based on a fulltime appointment (40 hours per week);
  • Other benefits include 30 holidays per annum (based on a fulltime appointment) and a premium-free pension plan;
