Audit Supervisor Human Resources Risk vacancy for an internal audit department within an international bank (dutch is required).

Corporate Audit Services (CAS) is the internal audit department of the international bank. Driven by support from the Executive Board, it is currently going through exciting developments that strive to optimise its role within the organisation and to make it a leading audit organisation in the industry. As part of the organisational change of CAS, the following main Risk units are grouped together in one CAS Risk department since 1 January 2008: Credit Risk, Market Risk, Insurance Risk, Operational Risk and Compliance Risk. In addition, a new Human Resources Risk unit has been added April 1st 2009. The Human Resources Risk Team is planned to grow into a comprehensive expertise team and is based in the Netherlands (Amsterdam).

Job Profile: Audit Supervisor Human Resources Risk

For the newly formed unit Human Resources Risk, The Corporate Audit Services (CAS) is looking for an Audit Supervisor.

What are the objectives?

• Maintain various internal and external contacts and work to further professionalise the team;


•  Working in a comprehensive Amsterdam based expert team, giving functional guidance to auditors throughout the CAS network in the organisation;


• Responsible for the coordination and execution of audits, both independently and in conjunction with CAS business line audit teams;


• Discusses reports with senior management of the audited areas;


• Participate in specific business line audits and liaise with business line auditors on human resources risk matters;


• Responsible for (partial) conclusions and for substantiating the audits that have been conducted;


• From a centre of excellence role, set up and deliver expertise and training to business line auditors;


• Be a sparring partner for the Sr Audit Manager (SAM) HR Risk and participate in developing a framework for HR risk related issues;


• Works in a complex, international and constantly changing environment.

Skills/Experience: Audit Supervisor Human Resources Risk

• Education at higher professional / university level;


• Notable several years experience in the auditing;


• Notable experience in Human Resources;


• Affinity with cultural and behavioural aspects of an organisation;


• Highly analytical and keen to develop;


• Good communication skills in Dutch and English;


• Flexible attitude and proactive approach;


• A team player who can also work independently;
