Company Profile: Technical Pre-sales Consultant

Technical Pre-sales Consultant wanted for an international organization which deals with sales and development of supply chain management software and -services within the financial sector

As an Technical Pre-sales Consultant are you located in Amsterdam, but you'll travel regularly to customers around the world. Your focus is on product knowledge, configuration and architectural topics of and around the product. In projects you are responsible for the further development of the product and in sales processes for the presentation and demonstration of the product to (potential) clients. Within quotation processes, the consultant analyses the implementation strategy and impact. Within projects the Technical Pre-sales Consultant is able to write requirements, work with the development team and perform acceptance tests.

Job description: Technical Pre-sales Consultant

As an Technical Pre-sales Consultant you will be responsible for the following:

Consultancy:
-Determine the business processes and requirements for software
-Propose the software configuration and customizations to address the client's business
-Determine and define interfaces between the product and 3rd party systems
-Understand and be able to present the product roadmap and release calendar

Sales assistance:
-Present and demonstrate the software to clients including solution concept and architecture
-Analyse business process requirements and define product based solutions
-Create a customization and implementation budget for a quotation

Post-implementation:
-Analysis and solution definition of incidents, problems and change requests
-Understand the functionality requirements and changes of a client
-Identify (potential) issues within the product and define solutions
-Closely cooperate with product management for version management and new releases.

Requirements:
-Write requirement document based upon client or product development wishes for new functionality
-Review requirements and solution directions with client
-Explain and transfer requirement documents to the development team
-Review Specification Documents
-Write test plans and scenario's
-Perform acceptance tests
-Writing of user assistance documents

Implementation:
-Training of (end) users and system administrators
-Product configuration
-Go-live checklist management
-Implementation projects participation

Job criteria: Technical Pre-sales Consultant
As a Technical Pre-sales Consultant you will meet the following requirements:

-A completed university degree
-5 Years experience within ICT
-Knowledge ERP software packages
-Cash industry business processes
-Basic business processes
-Knowledge of Cash products
-Project management basics
-Experienced in technical and functional development

-Excellent communication

-Result driven


The Offer: Technical Pre-sales Consultant

As a Technical Pre-sales Consultant, you can count on the following offer;

-A salary between € 2500 and € 3750, depending on knowledge and experience
