Business Analyst Hyperion for a world leading Financial Institution. As a business analyst within FSS you are the first point of contact for the system users within the finance & control domain and your primary concern is to ensure that the systems continue to support their processes and are further improved.


Job Description Business Analyst Hyperion

As a business analyst within FSS you are the first point of contact for the system users within the finance & control domain and your primary concern is to ensure that the systems continue to support their processes and are further improved.

The aim is to take an integrated perspective towards the user requirements existing in finance for additions and improvements in our financial systems suite, currently consisting out of:

• Oracle E-business Suite Financials
• Oracle Hyperion
• Business Objects
• CXO Cockpit
  
  In this analyst profile specific emphasis is put on the Hyperion suite and includes amongst others the following tasks:
• Manage users, security and application metadata
• Design and develop rule structures for financial consolidation
• Perform training to increase the user knowledge and train starters
• Make sure the system is running efficiently
• Maintain integration links to external systems using FDM, Hyperion Ledgerlink and Hyperion Retrieve (excel ad-in)
• Work closely with business users to ensure that the application structure is correct
• Produce ad-hoc reporting, consolidations and analyses
• Prepare functional documentation
• Incident management and some first line support
• Key involvement in the HFM upgrade (system 11) including new modules.

Requirements Business Analyst Hyperion

You are capable to maintain a balance between the various roles in the job, as you are/act as:

• We are looking for a medior candidate (5 years experience) with a bachelor or masters degree in Business Economics.
• Advisor and support for project managers and senior business analysts (problem solver),
• Organisational link between business and IT (co-ordinator),
• Guide to the users in improving their understanding of the systems (mentor), and identifying areas of improvement and initiate change (innovator).
• You are able to speak both the Finance language as well as the IT language.
• Considering the nature of the job you need to be an excellent communicator and be able to interact with various stakeholders in an empathic and considerate way.
• Organisational and cultural sensitivity are a must.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, corporate reporting and consolidation are strongly preferred. Knowledge of Hyperion (System 9 or 11) is also strongly preferred.

Offer Business Analyst Hyperion

The salary will be between €50.000,- en €65.000,- a year.
