CM and Portals Practice provide consulting and systems integration services in the areas of Portals, Content Management, Collaboration and Enterprise Search. It holds partnership with the market leading products in each of the areas and offers customer's services to consult, implement and maintain product based solutions. Key sub-practices include SharePoint, FAST Search, WebSphere Portal, Documentum, FileNet, Vignette and Lotus Notes.
Job profile: SharePoint Construction Manager
This is one of the largest SharePoint 2010 project in the industry . Is accountable for successful planning, execution and closure of project.
Key responsibilities include
1. Define and track high level and detailed project plan
2. Responsible for status reporting to the stake holders
3. Highlight and track risk, issues and concerns
4. Daily task tracking
5. Communication and co-ordination across teams
6. Handle escalations
7. Ensure the process adherence
8. Delivery of software development work stream with direct responsibility for managing your team
Requirements: SharePoint Construction Manager
1. Excellent understanding of Enterprise Content Management Systems, Collaboration, relational databases and enterprise applications
2. Knowledge of SharePoint is required
3. Understanding of IT project methodologies (agile, scrum) and SDLC Ability to work independently and within a team.
4. Ability to analyze business requirements in relation to application migration or retirement activities and identify business, technical, and document impacts.
5. Ability to write and speak in English to clearly and effectively communicate ideas, requirements, issues, and plans to all levels of the organization.
6. Ability to build partnerships across business functions and with customer teams
• Prior experience with SharePoint or other Content or Document management systems
• Prior experience managing projects as a project manager
• Experienced in managing various customer stakeholders from business, IT, Ops
• Prior experience working with a globally dispersed customer and development teams
• 10+ years IT experience out of which 5 years are in ma
