Accounts Payable Assistant for an International player in the consumer electronics business.
This company has developed over the 50 years cutting-edge technologies and products in the areas of electronics, information and communications technology. They are now the global leader in those products. For the European HQ in Almere we are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant

Responsibilities Account Payable Assistant
The account payable assistant will be participating in the accounting process of teh European HQ. This position is a very independent role where a pro active attitude and accuracy is asked. The new to be hired person should manage the AP account timely and accurate. The admin department now consists of an accounting assistant, tax assistant, HR officer and CFO.
Tasks and Responsibilities 

• Manage account payable (booking invoices, liaising with suppliers) 


• Control of cooperate credit card expenses and other expense claims 


• Maintain the fixed assets ledger and perform reconciliation 


• Check the general ledgers 


• Provide accurate monthly accounts in line with timetable 


• Provide ad hoc reports/ analyses and participate in ad hoc projects 


• Support financial audits

• MBO degree in the field of Accounting 


• At least 1-2 years accounting experience, preferable in AP 


• Good knowledge of MS office, especially Excel 


• Pro active and hands on attitude, no nonsense approach; 


• No 9 to 5 mentality 


• Strong team player 


• Analytically strong and accurate, result driven 


• Fluent in English and Dutch, good communication skills at all levels
