Company Profile: Business Analyst
Business Analyst for international Bank in Amsterdam.
Within the department our customer currently has several order managers in use. These order managers are located in different countries and find their origin in the different labels that the bank used to have. Consequently Customer Support is using several monitoring tools to support the customers.
This project aims to set up a Generic Foundation of the European Order Manager (EOM), to enable a single entry point/front door for all strategic channels and providing an STP validation and routing of the payments orders to the proper back office. In scope of this project is also processing of SEPA DD High Volume initiated by Dutch customers. Furthermore Customer Support will get the new application Bank User Portal (BUP). This application will enable Customer Support to monitor and manage customer orders (inquiry, authorization, cancelation, modification etc).


Job Description: Business Analyst
Business analyst analyzes the requirements and business processes from a business perspective. The Business Analyst fulfills the role of contact person between business architects, product managers and IT in regard to the Bank User Portal. In cooperation with them, the business analyst defines current and future operational scenarios, screen layout and navigation and work closely with the senior users to ensure proper translation of business requirements to IT solution requirements.
Expected deliverables for Bank User Portal are:
- Screen design and navigation,
- Processes descriptions and work instructions,
- User training material and information packages to different user groups,
- User Acceptance Test: scenarios, data, report
Additional activities possibly relevant for later stages (next releases):
- Gathering business and customer requirement
- Analyzing, interpreting and translating the requirements into business processes
- Preparation and/or advising on project issues for decision making by the project board
- Concluding and/or adjust SLA's with internal suppliers
