Are you an experienced Sales Manager? Do you understand the dynamics of thriving sales through distributors and the complexity of entering new markets? Have you searched, set up and managed distributors within the EMEA region? Do you have a track record within i.e the consumer electronic, lifestyle and retail industry? Can you think strategically and do you have a hands on, pragmatic approach and attitude? Are you entrepreneurial, result driven, innovative, a business developer and do you understand the bigger picture regarding logistic processes within commercial business activities? We are looking for a Sales and Marketing manager who will be responsible for the further development of the 3D business in the EMEA region.
Tasks include, but are not limited to the following;
- Report on sales, margin and profit numbers for the region and identify additional opportunities (and threats) to the business
- Build sustainable commercial relations with potential and existing 3D customers
- Develop the 3D cinema business (20 cinema chains in Europe), sell to distribution partners and direct customers
- Develop a cooperation between client and the film industry, such as production companies
- Handle and further develop the music and events industry
- Work with the international brand departments to discover possibilities of further expansion of the 3-D business in the current brand portfolio
- Work closely with the marketing department to ensure that all materials are available to relevant markets and to provide feedback on trends, opportunities and threats to the business
- Develop and place 3D merchandising; Develop, oversee and implement advertising and promotions plans for each market in line with corporate and local objectives
- Review product ranges, carry out training and motivational sessions where appropriate and give advice and direction to maximize sales
- Maintain good awareness of competitor developments and activities in all relevant markets
- Ensure effective monitoring of sell in, stock levels and sell through data on a regular basis to ensure that businesses are run smoothly
- Be the face of the product/ brand when travelling to markets and represent the company on international fairs, conferences and seminars
- Write and execute annual budget & annual marketing plan
- Provide information on 3-D technology, internally and externally
Gestelde eisen
- HBO or academic education
- Minimum 10 years of Sales and 5 years of Marketing experience
- Professional track record and network in either the production, movie, consumer electronics or eyewear industry
- Experience in putting new product/service in the market
- International working experience
- Experience in managing distributors within the EMEA region
- Fluent in German and English
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Willing and flexible to travel frequently
- Commercial attitude, Self aware, outstanding Negotiation & Presentation skills, excellent sales skills, Strategic Agility, Strong verbal and written communication skills, Technical skills (good understanding of 3-D technology), Drive, Innovation management, Creativity, Career ambition, Entrepreneur
