IT Consultant Governance, Risk & Compliance

Algemene omschrijving

• Translate Governance, Risk & Compliance Strategy into IT strategy to ensure that new capabilities required by the business are supported;
• Develop and articulate the vision that underpins all activity within IT, capturing short, medium and long term goals and providing an investment plan and key change programs, to achieve these goals;
• Check alignment of Governance, Risk & Compliance Systems and projects with Information strategy;
• Consult on overall Portfolio and Investment plans and Architecture Roadmap;
• Define, clarify and evaluate business options for new / enhanced IT capabilities & services;
• Identify leading edge best practices in the market and turn them into business opportunities for the company;
• Build strong relationship network with key business managers inside the company and external vendors;
• Work with the business to clarify and refine requirements, and coordinate IT's work in the initial phases to translate these into designs;
• Produce Service Definitions for application projects;
• Create and receive required documentation and process designs to operate the new service on a day-to-day basis;
• Support release planning for Governance, Risk & Compliance Systems applications;
• Implement releases for designated applications delivered according operational acceptance criteria and on time;
• Negotiating with the user community to keep the impact of change requests on cost and quality as limited as possible;
• Design enhancements, development programs, and/or required fixes to production problems and steering/controlling outsource partners in the execution of activities, projects and processes.

Gestelde eisen

• Educated to at least Bachelor's level;
• Several years of relevant working experience within an international environment, preferably within retail;
• Strong knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance systems and processes;
• General knowledge of IT governance models;
• Driven, ambitious, pragmatic;
• Excellent convincing skills on all levels;
• Very good command of English, both written and verbal.
