Algemene omschrijving

• Support the coordination of the communication of Pan-European budget guidelines and schedules
• Initiate and support finance processes and systems improvement projects and the development of standard reporting tools
• Analyze the true profitability of the European subsidiaries
• Further develop a comprehensive planning & monitoring infrastructure within Europe in SAP
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual management reports
• Prepare regular deviation reports (analyses on deviations budget vs. actual, historical results, benchmarks)
• Develop and implement KPIs to support Senior Management in strategic business decision making
• Steer the European budget and budget revision process and prepare the European budget
• Support the establishment and monitoring of internal control processes to minimize risks

Gestelde eisen

• Completed university level education in the field of Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent (post-graduate studies are highly desirable)
• 3-4 years experience in a similar business/commercial controller role in a multi-national company, preferably in a commercial sales and marketing focussed business
• 8 - 12 years of total financial experience
• Exposure to the "Limited Risk Distributor" business model
• Demonstrates a strong track record in preparing comprehensive and consolidated profit, budget and forecast analyses and presenting to Senior Management level
• Distinctive knowledge and understanding of financial key figures and the correlation with management control
• Experience in implementing and developing controlling tools, processes and management information systems
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (fluency in English required), other languages desirable, ability to communicate with people at all levels, solid presentation skills
• Interpersonal skills, patience and ability to build trust and interact with people from different cultural backgrounds
• Excellent computer application knowledge (especially Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint), SAP FI/CO or Hyperion, business analysis tools (e.g.: Cognos), strong ERP proficiency is a must-have requirement
• Self-dependent working style, pro-active and good organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail, accurate, organized and structured, but also flexible

€ 65.000 - 70.000 base salary plus package, strongly depends on experience
