Quality Software Engineer

Algemene omschrijving

• Analyse product requirements, create test plans.
• Execute testing tasks and report status, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Provide production support (also during evenings and nights).
• Coordinate and lead efforts for group testing tasks on a project basis.
• Proactively solve problems, suggest process and project improvements.
• Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk.
• Share knowledge with peers, mentor less experienced team members
• Determine appropriate number of test iterations and applying risk-based testing concepts.
• Internal functional support towards different departments.

Gestelde eisen

• Bachelor degree.
• 3 - 6 years experience of high-traffic, data-driven websites testing.
• Good knowledge of HTML and internet technologies is required.
• Excellent mastery of Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• ISEB/ISTQB certification is a plus
• Good knowledge of Java is a big plus.
• Knowledge of Agile (Scrum) development and agile testing is a plus.
• Good knowledge of PHP or similar programming language is a plus.
• Good knowledge of SQL and MySQL database is a plus.
• Knowledge of Atlassian Jira or similar tools is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Selenium II is a plus.
• Experience with running performance tests with JMeter is preferred
