In this Solutions Team you will be working directly with new and existing clients to help them achieve their strategic objectives through successful outsourcing / managed services solution implementation. Execution of all projects with a high degree of quality and customer satisfaction is of highest importance.

 

• Be a recognized expert (by clients, partners and colleagues) in solutions from server, virtualisation, networking, storage and security standpoint.
• Deliver high quality solution, project and consulting services to our growing client base
• Work closely with business development and sales activities, assisting in defining initial architecture approaches and identifying challenges and solutions to them.
• Assist with and as part of sales and project teams to scope and estimate opportunities as well as to define overall project approaches.
• Works as part of project teams to implement solutions. Analyses complex project issues, identifies possible solutions and facilitates the implementation of such solutions.
• Understanding customer's technical environment in order to provide the best, focused advice and trouble shooting.
• Able to efficiently analyse and resolve incidents, identifying the root cause and developing the technical solution required to fix the issue.
• Work directly with the client base to resolve issues and provide very high quality technical support solutions.
• Efficiently multi-task, working across multiple client opportunities at the same time
• Proactively maintain the highest level of expertise by staying current on industry techniques and technologies

Gestelde eisen

• A Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering is desired.
• 7-10 years experience in the IT outsourcing / managed services sector in an engineering capacity or similar experience.
• Hands on experience managing business critical infrastructures and applications
• Consulting experience considered an asset
• Considered expert in Windows server environments and related technologies
• Strong hands-on experience with mid to high-end storage solutions
• Experience with Networking technologies - hands on (switching, routing, load balancing, network security, firewalling)
• Experience with multiple database technologies (Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL)
• Experience with System Management on both Unix and Windows platforms
• Scripting and programming skills. Previous application development experience considered an asset
• Experience with monitoring and automating
• Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to handle multiple customers and/or engagements.

Salary: 45.000 - 65.000 per year.
