Functional Designer

Algemene omschrijving

As Functional Designer, you will be responsible for identifying the customer’s needs by collecting requirements. You will then translate these requirements into a functional design with a relating estimate and implementation plan.
Upon completion and approval of the design, the Functional Designer plays a key role in coordinating the software development process.
The Functional Designer’s duties consist of designing minor revisions to operational releases and designing new, more comprehensive software systems. The systems being worked on vary from administrative and financial systems to delivery systems that support and enable the primary business processes.

Job responsibilities include:
-Collecting, recording and prioritizing requirements
-Designing new systems and revisions to existing software
-Drafting functional designs
-Planning and coordinating software projects
-Drafting impact analyses
-Collecting and drafting estimates and business cases

Gestelde eisen

• At least two years of demonstrable experience in creating functional designs
• Experience in supporting/coordinating implementation processes
• A solid oral and written command of Dutch and English
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of Internet technologies
• A healthy dose of common sense and the ability to provide creative solutions
• Stress-resistant
• Preferably experience with ITIL processes (specifically change and release management)
• Preferably knowledge of Linux

Salary: up to €3.500,- per month
